The Rose Ladies Open began in 2022 at Brocket Hall, where the event was played for the first three years of its existence.

Sweden’s My Leander won the inaugural Rose Ladies Open, then Switzerland’s Chiara Tamburlini tasted victory in 2023. She has since won three times on the Ladies European Tour, all of which came in the 2024 season.

She came tied for 13th and 14th, respectively at the US Women’s Open and the AIG Women’s Open in 2025, so there is every chance that the mixture of professional and amateur players at the Rose Ladies Open can go on to great things.

“When we launched the Rose Ladies Open, our aim was simple: to create more high-quality playing opportunities for women on the pathway to the elite level of the sport. It’s been incredibly rewarding to watch how far it’s come, and how much of an impact it’s had,” a statement read from Justin and Kate Rose.

As well as this event arranged by Justin and Kate Rose, there was also the latest Rose Ladies Series schedule played in 2025. Five events were held across April and May which crowned five winners at venues such as West Lancs, Southport and Ainsdale, Formy Ladies, St. George’s Hill and The Buckinghamshire.

Date: September 5-7, 2025

Rounds: 3

Prize Fund: €65,000

Venue: Hanbury Manor Marriott Hotel & Country Club, Hertfordshire. Par 72, 6115 yards

The Rose Ladies Open is an event on the Ladies European Tour Access Series, which feeds the Ladies European Tour. There are 19 events on the LETAS, which started with the Terre Blanche Ladies Open in April.

This event at Hanbury has a prize fund of €65,000, which is only bettered by the €100,000 that was on offer at the Islantilla Open in Spain in July, won by Mexico’s Fernanda Lira.

After the Rose Ladies Open, there are three events left on the LETAS and the schedule finishes with the Iberdola Calatayud Ladies Open in October.

Rose Ladies Open 2024

Helen Briem beat England’s Hannah Screen in a dramatic three-hole playoff in 2024 to win the Rose Ladies Open. The pair were tied on 13-under after 54 holes at Brocket Hall, and they both carded 66 in the final round.

“It feels fantastic to get my first win as a professional, especially here at the Rose Ladies Open,” she said.

“Every tournament has its own story and this one is mine. I’m so happy to have another win. In regulation play, I considered hitting a three-wood after the tee. But I drove it and had a distance I didn’t like at all. But I still finished with an eagle, and it was incredible.”
