This is only Haeran Ryu’s second season on the LPGA Tour, and already has a win to her name. In her rookie season, she won the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship.
The 23-year-old is having a stellar season, finishing in the top five of two of the majors this year. She finished five in both the Chevron Championship in April and most recently The Amundi Evian Championship.
So, which clubs did see have in the bag for the 2024 season? Let’s take a look.
What’s in Haeran Ryu’s bag?
The South Korean is part of the TaylorMade team, and as such her bag is completed dominated by the brand. Unlike many on Tour, she doesn’t use the latest TaylorMade Qi10 driver, but instead the older model, the Stealth 2 Plus.
In fact, the only club Ryu uses out of the Qi10 range is the rescue club, which she has set at 19.5°. Here fairway woods are Stealth Plus. Also, rather usually, she only has one fairway wood, a 3-wood, which differs from a lot of players on tour who go heavy on metal woods and hybrids.
Ryu uses a mixture of irons. For her four iron only she uses a TaylorMade P·770, which blends with the TaylorMade P·7MC irons. She only uses a 5i-9i in this range.
Her wedges are all TaylorMade MG4s, preferring them in a 48°, 54° and a 58°.
For the short grass, Ryu opts for the TaylorMade TP Reserve M47 putter. Using this to rolll putts with the TaylorMade TP5 ball.
