Tiger Woods is at a very different stage of his career now of new experiences, now he’s incapable of being an active tour professional.
With Rory McIlroy, the 15-time major champion has masterminded a new golf league called TGL which includes many of the PGA Tour’s biggest stars hitting balls into an indoor simulator.
In his peak years when he seemed to win every week, his father Earl and mother Kultida were pillars of support. One of his most memorable wins was at The Open in 2006 – his first major win since the death of his father.
At the start of 2025, Woods had to cope with the death of his mother and undergoing even more surgery on a ruptured Achilles. Unfortunately, coping with injuries is something not exclusive to this stage of his career, but for many years.

As well as his activity on the golf course and the various stages of his rehabilitation from a car crash in 2021, Woods’ personal life will always be a matter of public interest.
Woods and Elin Nordegren were married in 2004. Their daughter Sam was born in 2007 and their son Charlie arrived in 2009. The pair divorced in 2010 after a string of Woods’ affairs became front-page news in the previous year.
Charlie has become somewhat of a superstar on the golf course after playing with his father at the PNC Championship, an unofficial family-based PGA Tour event.
Woods started seeing Erica Herman in 2017, a woman he reportedly met for the first time when Herman worked as a general manager of his pop-up restaurant in Jupiter, Florida. Their split was confirmed in March 2023 and involved a rather messy legal dispute at the end.

Herman filed a lawsuit against the 82-time PGA Tour winner trying to nullify a nondisclosure agreement she alleged Woods made her sign at the start of their relationship.
In March 2025, Woods was reported to be seeing Vanessa Trump, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jnr – the son of President Donald Trump who was re-elected as the USA’s leader in 2025. The Daily Mail wrote that the pair live near each other in Florida and have been an item since Thanksgiving from the previous year.
Woods confirmed his and Trump’s romance on March 23, 2025 in a social media post that read:
“Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side! We look forward to our journey through life together. At this time we would appreciate privacy to all those close to our hearts.”

The Daily Mail also reported that Vanessa’s eldest daughter Kai and Woods’ children Charlie and Sam all attend The Benjamin School. Vanessa filed for divorce from Donald Jnr in 2018 – Donald Jnr is an adviser to his father who is president of America for the second time.
This development is interesting given the context of the President’s relationship with Woods. At the end of February, Woods, PGA Tour star Adam Scott, PGA Tour boss Jay Monahan, the President and Yasir Al-Rumayyan of the Saudi Public Investment Fund met in a crunch meeting.
Talks between the Saudis, who front the PGA Tour’s rival league LIV Golf, and the tour itself continue and the hope is that President Trump can help to move things along after a framework agreement was initially announced in June 2023. Woods has been at the heart of discussions.
