Former Ryder Cup captain left raging after ‘low life’ tampers with gear
Ever heard of golf espionage? No, we haven’t either, but a spy might be needed over on the DP World Tour after an enraged Thomas Bjorn supposedly had his driver tampered with at the Open de Espana.
After teeing up for round one in Madrid, Bjorn was left fuming on social media after claiming a “low life” had “changed the settings” on his driver overnight. That old classic.
Failing to see the funny side, the Dane exploded and had a few choice words for his prankster…
Bleeding haemorrhoids? Yikes.
Bjorn – a 15-time time winner on the DP World Tour – had shot a 4-over 75 on round one before unleashing the rant of all rants.
And unfortunately for him, and us popcorn-munching onlookers, Bjorn is yet to get to the bottom of who was responsible for the driver scandal. Although as always, the golf world has its usual witty ideas…
Someone is going to post that pic of Greg Norman lurking at the first LIV event in Hemel Hempstead...
