Poulter scorns ‘LIV basher’ Pepperell in latest Twitter spat
Another day, another Twitter spat involving LIV’s lively defectors and an ardent defender of the DP World Tour. And this time things have got tetchy between Ian Poulter and Eddie Pepperell after the latter was scorned for ‘bashing LIV’ by the Ryder Cup hero.
After Poulter replied to an article published by Alistair Tait – where the golf journalist discussed the lack of big names at the Andalucia Masters on the DP World Tour – Pepperell then couldn’t resist weighing in during his latest attempt to condemn LIV golfers…
Referencing the Englishman’s own dismissal of the tournament in favour of playing at LIV Golf Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, things then took their usual bitter turn as Poulter took aim at Pepperell over his frequent criticism of the breakaway league…
And the beef wasn’t done there. After a series of touchy replies, Lee Westwood then decided to get in on the action, belittling Pepperell over his own non-appearance at the Andalucia Masters. Here’s how things played out…
We’ll let you decide who came out on top of this one.
