Praia D'El Rey
Designed by renowned architect Cabell Robinson and opened in 1997, the golf course at Praia D’El Rey has a little bit of everything. From expansive pine forests to the undulating dunes with views of the Atlantic Ocean, it provides several different challenges.

A mixture of seaside links and parkland joys, the Par-73 7,100 yard venue is one of Robinson’s best and is up there with the very best in Continental Europe.

The West Cliffs Academy runs a variety of programmes to help amateur golfers. From those looking to find their feet with the sport, to those experienced golfers aiming to improve their skills, there is tuition for all.

The Academy runs both individual lessons and group clinics, with Head Professional Luis Barroso the main man. 

Throughout the summer, West Cliffs Academy also runs a Junior Club to help children get into the game, and then progress to improve their abilities. With three tiers (Beginners, Intermediates, Advanced) and with all equipment provided, it is the perfect place for youngsters to get into the sport.
