Korineum Overview | NCG Top 100s: European Golf Resorts

Korineum Golf Course

Korineum Golf & Country Club has been a natural golf paradise since its opening in April 2007, when it became the first 18-hole course to be designed and constructed in the northern part of Cyprus.

The 18-hole championship course plays as a Par 72, and measures out at more than 6,800 yards from the tips. Thanks to the design of Hemstock and Harradine, golfers can enjoy views of both the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea from all parts of the golf course. There are strategically placed bunkers throughout the property, while five tees on each hole allow for golfers to play however they feel comfortable at Korineum.

The 5th hole is the signature hole at Korineum. Named ‘Vertigo’, it has a 250-yard carry to the fairway from the back tees, but it plays severely downhill. Meanwhile the par-3 11th is 180 yards, but it is all over a ravine. Water comes into play on 16, with a lake to the right of the green on this par-4, before the final two holes of this stunning golf course.
