Robinson Nobilis Overview | NCG Top 100s: European Golf Resorts

A Dave Thomas Design

The 18-hole golf course at the Robinson Nobilis Golf Club opened in 1998, making it one of the more mature courses in Belek. Designed by internationally renowned architect Dave Thomas, the course offers a natural layout that cleverly works its way through a variety of different tree types, surrounded by stunning views.

The Par-72 course measures out at more than 6,800 yards, and it sits at the foot of the Eucalyptus Mountains. There are wide fairways, but there are also plenty of hazards that have been strategically placed around the course. Both water and sand come into play at several spots on this Dave Thomas design.

Each of the two nines has a par-3 which requires a lengthy carry over water. The 9th hole brings the front nine to a close, while the 16th is a 180-yard par-3 from the back tees. The other two par-3s on the course aren’t exactly classed as easy either, with both measuring more than 200 yards to the green from the back tees. 6, 7, 8 and 10 all feature water as well, while the course finishes with the long par-5 18th.

Volvo Golf Academy at Robinson Nobilis

Along with the golf course, the Robinson Nobilis is also the home to the Volvo Golf Academy. There is a lengthy driving range, fully equipped with grass tees to allow for practice on the same turf as the course. There are also target greens on the range for distance control practice.

As well as the driving range, the practice facilities at the Robinson Nobilis include a short game area for players to practise their chipping and bunker skills. There is also a putting green by the clubhouse, for those final preparations ahead of a round.
