TaylorMade SIM Max irons review: The technology
As with the M5 and M6 models, Speed Bridge technology is the key story here. This is the beam which spans across the back of the iron and connects the back bar to the topline. What do you mean you don’t get it? This improves stability in the top of the face as well as supporting the topline and reducing unwanted vibrations. This delivers improved sound and feel and works with the ‘speed pocket’ to provide increased ball speed and distance.
There is also an echo dampening system, but if you want to know more you’ll have watch the video.
