If you look at the career of Patrick Reed to date – he’s definitely produced his most memorable performances in the Ryder Cup.
From shushing the crowd at Gleneagles to out-pumping Rory McIlroy at Hazeltine, the American just loves the red, white and blue.
So not only has Reed been wearing those colours in each of his three opening rounds at Erin Hills – he’s even wearing the same trousers from his last Ryder Cup outing.

“They felt good,” Reed said about the Ralph Lauren slacks.
“I’ve worn them a lot around the house and stuff like that and practice. But it was the first time popping them back out in play.”

Reed has the red and white FootJoy Icon shoes, white belt, USA-themed golf bag and headcovers. It certainly seemed to work as he fired a superb 65 on Saturday to finally set up a proper major challenge.
