Tyrrell Hatton's 2020 has so far included winning two of the most prestigious events on either side of the Atlantic. Hannah Holden runs down his setup
What a year for Tyrrell Hatton, who won the Arnold Palmer Invitational and a third Rolex Series event at the BMW PGA Championship either side of the pause for the pandemic.
Hatton has been a Ping staffer since his standout season in 2016 which saw him get inside the top 25 in the world rankings. He is on an 11-club contract with Ping that includes using the brand’s driver and putter, but it does give him some flexibility with the final three clubs in his bag. So let’s take a look at what the Englishman is using…
What’s in Hatton’s bag?
Hatton started the year with the Ping G410 Plus driver but upgraded to the G425 ahead of the BMW PGA Championship. He also has the Ping G425 in his fairway woods.
Hatton carries a full set of Ping i210 irons from 4-iron down to pitching wedge.
He carries a Ping Glide Forged gap wedge and has recently added two Titleist Vokey SM8 wedges into the bag.
He rounds out his bag with the Ping Vault Oslo putter and the Titleist Pro V1x ball.
He wears Adidas shoes and clothing, including that hoodie that was quite the talking point in his win at Wentworth.
