TomTom Golfer 2

Equipment: Tom Tom launch Golfer 2 GPS watch

Sat Nav giants Tom Tom have significantly improved on their original Golfer GPS watch

Tom Tom made their first move into the golf market with the Golfer watch last year but have now made a number of advancements and improvements with the new Golfer 2.

Most significantly, the ultra-slim Golfer 2 GPS watch now includes automatic shot detection for detailed post-round analysis.

The sleek design sees the face and the strap come together seamlessly which appears to be an improvement on the first Tom Tom Golfer watch where the strap was attached with delicate screws.

This new offering seems more robust and capable of handling the rigours of 18 holes of golf.

As before, golfers can access distances to the green, hazards and lay-up spots but can also analyse where they went wrong using the Tom Tom MySports app after the round.

There’s also an ultimate round feature which puts together a round of the golfers best holes to show them what they are capable of.

The TomTom MySports post-game analysis gives insights into shot patterns and greens in regulation. Rounds can be studied hole-by-hole in order to build on your strengths and improve your weaknesses.

There’s 40,000 courses available with no subscription costs in a sleek, lightweight and durable design suitable for wear on and off the course.

SRP: £199.99
Available: May 2016
