What’s in Sergio Garcia’s bag?
Sergio Garcia has rejoined TaylorMade – the brand with which he spent 15 years from 2003 to 2018.
“Some of my fondest on-course memories have come with a TaylorMade club in my hands and a TaylorMade golf ball on the tee,” the 2017 Masters champion explained. “I am excited about the future, especially with the Olympics and Ryder Cup on the horizon, and I know that TaylorMade will help me achieve the absolute best possible results.
“I’ve always been comfortable with their team, their approach to the game and their equipment, especially their golf ball. I couldn’t be more excited to rejoin a group I consider family.”
Garcia had caused quite a stir at the start of 2020. Just two years after leaving TaylorMade for Callaway, Garcia was spotted at a photoshoot ahead of the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship with a mixture of clubs in his bag.
Callaway later confirmed they had parted ways with the Spaniard, who played the 2020 season with a mixed setup.
