WITB: Sergio Garcia – Valderrama Masters
Sergio Garcia WITB 2018. The Spaniard stormed to a five-shot victory at the Valderrama Masters for his second victory as an official Callaway Golf staff player.
It was his first win since the Singapore Open in January as he successfully defended his title on home soil.
Garcia parted company with TaylorMade towards the end of 2017 and put Callaway clubs in the bag almost immediately.

He initially used the Epic driver but moved into the Rogue Sub Zero which is the low-spinning model of the family.
He also uses a 15˚3-wood and an 18˚ 5-wood.
On the irons and wedges front Garcia opts for the Apex MB and Mack Daddy 4.

The 2017 Masters Champion is playing the Callaway Chrome Soft X ball.
Garcia has changed his putter a few times in the past year mainly because he keeps getting special ones made for him.
This was an Odyssey Toulon design Atlanta model in a rose gold finish which was made for him ahead of the Ryder Cup.
Garcia had used an Azalea model when he first made the switch to Callaway.
It did the job for Garcia at the Ryder Cup but it was another custom effort which helped him to a comfortable victory at Valderrama.
This was was still a Toulon Design Atlanta model but was created in the colours of the Spanish flag.
The win was Garcia’s 34th professional victory and his 15th on the European Tour which puts him in a tie for 15th on the all-time list along side Thomas Bjorn and Padraig Harrington.
