Have you ever seen anything like this? Watch Sergio win match with walk-off hole-in-one
Not many golfers know how to thrill on the match play stage like Sergio Garcia
There aren’t many golfers who can make a grown man stand and applaud his television at 9.30pm on the Friday of a tournament. But then there aren’t many golfers like Sergio Garcia.
Garcia was facing Lee Westwood were facing off at the WGC-Dell Match Play in a play-off for a spot in the last 16.
The pair had reached a fourth extra hole – the 160-yard par-3 4th at Austin Country Club – and with Westwood’s ball already safely on the green, Garcia let fly and it was clear the Spaniard liked it all the way.
Then this happened…
Utterly ludicrous.
Has anyone ever won a match in a better way? Answers on a postcard.
Garcia and Westwood have played in eight Ryder Cups together and amassed 48.5 points between them. Don’t bet against them adding to those tallies in September…
