This Ram Zebra putter is older than our equipment editor – but can it still do a job? She dusted it off and took it for a test drive
Seeing as we’re all confined to our homes, I’ve decided to have a root through my parents’ garage to see what I can find. In episode 3 I found my dad’s 25-year-old Ram Zebra putter.
Self Isolation Reviews: Episode 3
My dad bought this putter in 1994 – a full year before I was born – when he watched Nick Price use something very similar to win that year’s Open Championship.
So how did I get on with it? Well, you’ll have to watch the video and find out.
But that’s not all, because as you can see in the picture the plate on the bottom of the putter is screwed on. So obviously I took it off and had a look inside.
Enjoy! I know I did…
If you don’t know what Self Isolation Reviews is all about, maybe just flick on the news, but here is a little taster of what’s to come in the next few weeks/months/until Boris lets us out:
How on earth am I meant to review equipment now?!? 🙄🤷🏻♀️🤯

Before I go, a huge thank you to Huxley Golf because without you I wouldn’t be enjoying the lockdown half as much as I am.
If you want to see me review something from my house, drop me a line in the comments below or you can tweet me.
Thanks for stopping by.
