The thin shots can come down to you losing your spine angle in the swing.
What I want you to do is get an alignment stick and place it a couple of feet outside the ball. Make your usual set up but place the golf club across your shoulders.
When you make that rotation for the backswing I want you to see the butt of the club pointing in between the ball and the alignment stick.
This will make sure that your spine angle remains constant throughout the golf swing and will help avoid those dreaded thin shots. Give it a go.
