What does The Players champion have in play for 2023?
2022 was quite the year for Scottie Scheffler. He won his first PGA Tour event (and second, and third), moved to World No 1, and locked up a Green Jacket!
But what about his gear this season? Well, Scheffler is no longer a free agent after signing to join TaylorMade’s illustrious tour line-up – and he’s already added a Phoenix Open and history-making Players Championship title.
What’s in Scottie Scheffler’s bag?
Scheffler is still fairly new to team TaylorMade, so doesn’t have a full bag of their gear in play yet. His set-up features a mix of new TaylorMade technology with a handful of clubs that are old trusty faithfuls.
Scottie has the brand new TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus driver in play at the top of this bag. He pairs this with a TaylorMade Stealth 2 fairway wood to round out his wood set-up.
He carries a Srixon ZU85 3 and 4-iron before transitioning into the TaylorMade P7TW blades from 5-iron to pitching wedge.
Scheffler has a three-wedge set-up. In his 50° and 56°, he opts to use the Titleist Vokey SM8’s before switching to a Titleist Vokey Design WedgeWorks Proto in his lob wedge.
He rounds out the bag with his Scotty Cameron Special Select Timeless Tourtype GSS tour prototype putter and a Titleist Pro V1 golf ball.
