Is Rory McIlroy putting TaylorMade's new SIM range into play for this year? Let's take a look in his bag
Rory McIlroy has been a TaylorMade staffer for some while now, but which TaylorMade gear has made it into his bag? Let’s find out…
What’s in McIlroy’s bag?
There are lots of shiny new sticks at the top of McIlroy’s bag as has put in the TaylorMade SIM driver and 3-wood.

Perhaps more interesting is the introduction of a 19-degree hybrid to replace his 5-wood. McIlroy has never gamed a hybrid in his career before.
Subtle changes to his iron set-up see his TaylorMade P730s remain from 5-iron to PW. He has however swapped out his P750 4-iron replacing it with a P760 4-iron.
Rory is still sticking with the TaylorMade Milled Grind wedges, he has three back in play after taking one out to add a 3-iron at the start of the year.
Unsurprisingly his TaylorMade Spider X Copper putter remains firmly in the bag.
He uses the TaylorMade TP5 golf ball.
