Rory McIlroy had a busy 2019, winning four times, and has taken a healthy break ahead of the 2020 campaign. He’ll be playing on the European and PGA Tours in the 2019-20 season and if any changes are made to his plans, you will be able to read about them here…

Rory McIlroy 2020 schedule: Where has he played so far?

Despite playing right up until the end of 2019 on the European Tour, he has only actually played in one event so far in the new season and this came on the PGA Tour.

He was one of several who chased home Tiger Woods at the inaugural Zozo Championship in Japan where he finished in a tie for 3rd.

Rory McIlroy 2020 schedule: Where is he playing next?

After a lengthy break the Northern Irishman will return to action at Torrey Pines in late January where the Farmers Insurance Open will be his first start of the year.

After that he has confirmed that he will be playing in the Genesis Invitational which will be hosted by Tiger Woods.

Further down the line, he’s planning to play five weeks in a row at the Irish Open, the Memorial, Canadian Open, US Open and Travelers Championship before taking a few weeks off.

He then hopes to play in the The Open, the Olympics and the FedEx Cup Playoffs before heading to Whistling Straits for the Ryder Cup.
