Puma have teamed up with beach-gear specialists Duvin to take their on-and-off-course clothing range to the next level
When it comes to apparel Puma like to stand out from their crowd and their latest collaboration with Rickie Fowler and Duvin Design Co is no different.
Puma Golf Clothing x Duvin Design Co
Duvin Design Co are a go-to-beach brand, started with the aim to make the world’s best beach shorts. So how have they ended up on the golf scene?
Co-founder Shaun O’Meara is no stranger to golf. You may have heard of his dad – two-time major champion and Hall of Famer Mark O’Meara.
The younger O’Meara grew up playing with Puma athlete Rickie Fowler – and that’s how all these dots are connected.
The Puma goes on Vacation collection takes inspiration from each of its contributors. The bold colours and designs are inspired by Florida, where the Duvin guys call home, and this is balanced with the use of Puma’s high-performance materials and craftsmanship. This range pushes the boundaries of athletic golf performance clothing – something for which Fowler is well known.
“We’re really excited that Rickie helped bring these two coastal brands together. Duvin is known for their bold, retro print style, and Puma Golf has a long history of our own boldness and taking fashion risks in the golf space. It was a fun project to design, combining our authenticity in golf with their flair and the Florida beach lifestyle.”Chris MacNeill, Puma Golf head of apparel and accessories
The unisex capsule features a polo shirt, shorts, bucket hat and socks which are designed to be worn by both men and women. Pink florals with purple and light blue palms appear atop a natural white background on the garments, creating the perfect contrast against the bright green grass of a course or the sandy beach of a summer escape.
The polo is designed to have an athletic fit, allowing you to swing aggressively. The shorts have an elastic waistband that allows them to work for golf and also a post round pool session. The bucket hat has a casual styling but also features Puma’s signature P logo. The range is rounded out with socks to go with your spikes or sandals.
