‘More lies!’ Norman slammed over LPGA blunder
The LIV CEO left the golf world incensed after his latest mishap
Greg Norman has been slammed by the golf world after his nescient comments about the LPGA Tour went viral across social media.
Not content with just ruffling the feathers of the PGA Tour, Norman left players and fans of the LPGA Tour incensed after falsely claiming the circuit is “literally” sponsored by Aramco – the state-owned Saudi Arabian oil company.
Here’s exactly what was said during an interview with Fox News:
The LIV Golf CEO, whose own breakaway series is funded by the Saudi Public Investment Fund, had unsurprisingly got his facts wrong, confusing the LPGA Tour for the LET who have six tournaments sponsored by Aramco – including their Team Series event.
Following the blunder, Twitter was quick to correct Norman while slamming the Aussie for getting his facts wrong once again. Here’s the very best reactions, led by two-time major winner Brittany Lincicome…
If you say something long enough people start to believe it is true..even if it isn’t.

Because he doesn’t care if he gets it wrong. He’s on the “two wrongs make a right” campaign now, problem is he got one of his “wrongs” wrong. Smearing the LPGA with lies to justify his toy tour, he knows what he’s doing is wrong otherwise he wouldn’t be doing this.
