We take a look at the clubs Matt Fitzpatrick has in play for the 2020 season
As a free agent Matt Fitzpatrick has one of the most interesting bags on tour. He usually isn’t one to change up his gear too often but at the back end of the 2020 season almost his whole bag had an overhaul. It worked as he went on to claim the DP World Tour Championship with his new gear. So what’s he changed to? Let’s take a look…
What’s in Fitzpatrick’s bag for 2020?
Fitzpatrick has had a TaylorMade M2 driver at the top of his bag since 2017 so it was quite the surprise when he rocked up at Wentworth in October 2020 with a new Titleist TSi3. He carries two fairway woods – a Titleist TSi2 3-wood and his trusty Ping G400 5-wood.
At the start of his year irons were some of the oldest on tour but he has now swapped his Ping i25s and Ping S55s for the more up-to-date Ping i210 irons.
He has also upgraded his wedge set-up for 2020 switching into the new Titleist Vokey SM8s.
Fitzpatrick has replaced his trusty Yes C-Groove Tracy II Putter which he used for 12 years in favour of a custom Bettinardi putter.
He liked the Yes so much he had Bettinardi make a custom putter exactly like it.
