What’s in Thomas’ winning bag?
However, the 25 year-old is still using the sameTitleist 915FD 5-wood which helped him win his maiden major title at the 2017 PGA Championship.
Thomas has had a slight tweak to his wedge set up as he has upgraded some of his wedges to the Titleist Vokey SM7 model which he uses for his 46°, 52° and 56°.
For his lob wedge he uses a slightly modified SM6 model which has a loft of 60.5°.
A subtle change to Thomas’ bag has been his putter. He has switched from a Scotty Cameron X5 Flow Neck mallet to a T5.5 M Prototype at the Sony Open and his new putter is very similar to his previous flat stick.
The differences include a black face which differs from the previous silver finish. The putter also features a black top line which is used as an alignment aid.
