Jordan Spieth’s final round Open notes are everything
The 23-year-old’s Sunday trip around Royal Birkdale is even more impressive written down.
Jordan Spieth and his caddie, Michael Greller, have struck up quite a partnership during the Texan’s rise up the ranks after turning professional in 2012.
Together they have grabbed 13 wins, which include three major titles, and now we have an even bigger insight into the amount of detail the pair go into (we can only imagine their practice round research).
Check out Greller’s notes from Sunday’s final act at Royal Birkdale:
Is this the best use of an asterisk the English language has ever seen? Probably.
Greller details every single shot of Spieth’s round and our favourite has to be that 13th hole debacle, “no number (yardage), we guessed 240 yards.”
Just awesome.
There is also something pretty impressive about the fact that he only took one putt for eagle on 15, “driver, 3 wood from 256 yds to 55′, 1 putt.”
One (ONE!) putt from 55 feet. I wish all my notes looked like that.
