Dufner signs on the dotted line
Jason Dufner has signed a multi-year equipment deal with Cobra. This week’s Mayakoba Golf Classic will see the start of the partnership as the major champion and five-time PGA Tour winner starts the week with 11 Cobra clubs in his new bag.
Dufner has been a free agent for around 18 months after splitting with Titleist at the start of 2018. He has played a mixture of brands over that time including a Ping G410 driver, TaylorMade M4 driver and some National Custom Works blade irons.
What’s in Dufner’s bag?
Dufner has had the Cobra King F9 Speedback in his bag for several months now, and while he still carries two Titleist fairway woods in his bag, Dufner then uses the King driving iron before switching to the Cobra King Forged CB from 5-iron down to pitching wedge.
He then carries three Cobra King V Grind wedges in 52, 56 and 62 degrees.
He rounds out his bag with the TaylorMade Spider X Tour in blue.
“The success of Rickie and Bryson over the past few years with Cobra equipment certainly piqued my interest in the brand. When I tested their products, I was impressed by the improvement in my numbers across the board and by the look and feel of their equipment.”
– Jason Dufner
“In addition to his unique personality, Dufner is known for his impressive ball-striking ability, as well as being one of the most sophisticated, technically-savvy pros out there when it comes to choosing what’s in his bag.”
– Dan Ladd, Cobra Golf executive vice president
