Quick 9: How the pros reacted to the new Rules of Golf
7. Why’d you have to go and make things so complicated? (Part 1)
One thing we’ve been talking about at NCG Towers is how we believe they’ll change the drop rule – most likely to say that players can drop anything between the knee and shoulder.
And Jordan Spieth seems to have been eavesdropping on our conversations:
You drop it knee height, but what’s the advantage of dropping it from shoulder height? It’s actually probably a disadvantage, so why can’t you still do that? It doesn’t do any good and honestly it’s a frustrating asterisk that I have to pick it up and re-drop from my knee.
It will be interesting so see how the authorities react things like this. Stay tuned.
8. Why’d you have to go and make things so complicated? (Part 2)
Just before Christmas, Mackenzie Hughes had his say on the matter and it picked up quite a large engagement – mostly people agreeing with him…
I just went through the new rules of golf for 2019 again. I feel like a few of the changes are good (ex. caddie alignment, loose impediments in bunkers), but I feel like most of them missed the mark (ex. ball drop from knee height, damaged club, and more). Thoughts?

9. Bad boy
Back to the fun stuff now and like his namesake Paisley, Chris Hanson is good value on social media. This tickled us:
