The South African has found himself the centre of attention (again) for all the wrong reasons (again)
Gary Player just can’t help himself, can he?
He had already made headlines in the run up to the Masters when he rated the Augusta National showpiece bottom of the major championship leaderboard, despite being a three-time champion, before claiming he had to beg members to get a round for himself and his grandchildren at the famous venue.
And now, at the Masters Champions Dinner, he is the brunt of social media’s ire after fellow Green Jacket holder Trevor Immelman posted an image of his menu plastered with the attendees signatures.
See if you can spot it…
Yes, the 87-year-old apparently used a bolder pen – did he bring it himself? – and then stuck his scribble all over the Augusta National logo.
But we wouldn’t expect anything less from the man who did this to the Claret Jug…
Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, and 31 other past champions enjoyed an alleged LIV Golf-free zone on Tuesday nightm where even Phil Mickelson managed to behave himself.
