G/Fore Circle G golf shoe review: NCG Summary

NCG SUMMARY
These may be the best spikeless shoe available to buy right now. If your style is more classic casual than modern sport, these shoes are perfect for you and will go with any outfit.
Straight out of the box, they are incredibly comfortable and require no break-in period at all. The waterproof leather is very soft and you will have no issue wearing these shoes on and off the course for a long period of time.
PROS

First Impressions
These G/Fore shoes must have been designed with me in mind. A spikeless pair of shoes with a bespoke cleat design that mimics real spikes, street style that can be worn on or off the course, simple white design… I may never need to wear another pair of shoes again.

Taking them out of the box, I love them immediately. A lot of brands try to make a spikeless shoe that you can’t tell is a golf shoe, but I don’t think I have seen any as good as these. They’re clean and not over-designed; for this type of shoe, simple is perfect.
Putting them on, you notice the triple-density foam cushion footbed straight away, I have never had an insole feel like it before. It was a little off-putting at first as the foot massaging nubs feel weird if you’re not expecting them, but you quickly get used to them as they are extremely comfy.
A nice touch on these shoes to give them a little flair is the brightly coloured soles. Plain white shoes don’t often catch the eye of onlookers but wearing these you will notice people trying to steal a look.
On Course Testing
I’ve worn this pair of shoes for a few weeks now in pretty much all weather conditions so feel in a perfect position to comment on their performance. Firstly, unlike most spikeless shoes I’ve worn I’ve not slipped once in them. The G/round control technology cleat design is the best in class.
I wore them for 8 days straight on a trip to California, and they did not once become uncomfortable or make my feet ache, and the looked the part at both super private members clubs like The Farms, & at woke golf’s mecca Goat Hill Park. Super versatile.

Considering the mileage I put on them on this trip I am really pleased with how they’ve worn and look. I have wiped down the full-grain leather just with water a couple of times and they freshen up beautifully.
I also wore them after a downpour in North Leeds and they didn’t let water in so I am delighted with that too.
The 19th hole
I absolutely would have no shame wearing these in the clubhouse bar at the end of a game. I’ve even (quite embarrassingly) worn them out for dinner. They are perfect with a pair of chinos for whatever occasion.

I wouldn’t necessarily wear these in the rain by choice, not because they’re not waterproof but because I’d like to keep them smart to extend their life as long as possible.
These are quite possibly the perfect golf shoe. I have often been tempted to go online and buy out all stock of my size so that I always have a fresh pair for the new season. Go out and try some, I’m sure you will love them.
