The 2023 season will feature a full 12-month calendar, with a minimum of 39 tournaments in 26 different countries. The exciting news for the players, though, is the guarantee of a six-figure payday

The DP World Tour schedule 2023 has been announced and, for the first time ever, players will receive guaranteed money after the circuit announced a lucrative update to its new season.

Players will vie for a record-breaking purse of $144.2 million across tournaments – outside of the four majors and the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play – with the bumped-up figure including a bonus pool of $6 million for the leading eight players in the DP World Tour Rankings in Partnership with Rolex.

The season-ending DP World Tour Championship will then offer a $10 million purse.

On top of that – and perhaps most significantly – players will now benefit from the introduction of the new Earnings Assurance Programme. Under the initiative, exempt members of the DP World Tour in categories 1-17 will be guaranteed a $150,000 minimum if they compete in 15 or more tournaments throughout the year.

Four new events have also been added to the schedule as the DP World Tour grows its presence across Asia. This includes trips to Singapore, Thailand, Japan, and South Korea.

Per the DP World Tour, the heavy increases have been made possible thanks to the “strategic alliance” agreed with the PGA Tour back in June.
