Dell Technologies Championship preview

It’s a Friday start this week on the PGA Tour as the second FedEx Cup Play-offs event heads to TPC Boston for the Dell Technologies Championship.

Justin Thomas won here last year, but it’s Dustin Johnson who narrowly edges Thomas for the betting favouritism as almost all of the top players are in action.

Rickie Fowler hasn’t recovered from his oblique injury while Francesco Molinari has decided to give this week a miss.

Rory McIlroy makes his first start in this year’s play-offs after skipping last week at The Northern Trust, and Tiger Woods returns to TPC Boston for the first time in five years.

After this week, the top 70 on the FedEx standings progress to the BMW Championship at Aronimink Golf Club.

Dell Technologies Championship betting tips

We profited from Billy Horschel (50/1, 6 places) last week, and I see no reason why we should stop just there.

Yes, his price has halved after his tie for third last week at The Northern Trust, but this superb ball striker loves this time of year and he’s quite clearly found something in his game.

Indeed, no player in this field has hit more greens in regulation over the past six weeks than Horschel.

The American has got his play-offs off to an excellent start, and he’ll be desperate to enter the Tour Championship in three weeks time with a chance of regaining the FedEx Cup and the $10 million prize.

That’s Keel’s top tip for the Dell Technologies Championship, but where does our tipster think you can really make some money? Find out on the next page…
