What’s in Danny Willett’s bag?
Danny is usually one for sticking with his set-up but he has made numerous changes to his bag this year.
At the top of the bag his trusty Callaway Rogue driver has been replaced after over 4 years in play. He has subbed in the new Callaway Rogue ST driver with an interesting addition of lead tape on the toe.
Danny likes to hit a fade. Having lead tape on the toe adds weight and will slow down the closure rate of the toe of the club. This should help him keep his face open to his path and hit that cut shape he prefers.
He also has some new irons in play, switching from Callaway X-Forged CB to Callaway Apex TCB irons. Xander Schauffele and Jon Rahm have also made the switch into the Apex TCB model.
Willett has stuck with his four Callaway Jaws MD5 wedges but has switched from a mallet to a blade putter.
