Finally! The news PGA Tour video game is here

There will be some familiar faces when PGA Tour 2K21 hits the shelves in August. Watch the trailers here

Since EA Sports pulled out of the golf video game business after a long and successful stint of Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy-backed franchise, it’s been left to 2K Games and their excellent yet unlicensed Golf Club series. But that has all changed with the release of PGA Tour 2K21.

The game features cover star Justin Thomas as well as fellow PGA Tour stars Sergio Garcia, Ian Poulter, Bryson DeChambeau, Matt Kuchar, Jim Furyk, Tony Finau, Gary Woodland, Kevin Kisner, Billy Horschel, Patrick Cantlay and Cameron Champ.

There is also a brand new career mode where you can compete as the big names or create your own up-and-coming star in MyPlayer to make his or her way to the very top and battle to become the FedEx Cup champion.

Players can also create and personalise players with equipment and apparel from licensed brands including Adidas, Polo Ralph Lauren, TaylorMade, Callaway, Bridgestone, and more.

There are also 15 licensed TPC courses – Sawgrass, Scottsdale, Quail Hollow, Riviera, Copperhead, East Lake, Boston, Deere Run, Southwind, Summerlin, Twin Cities, River Highlands, Louisiana, San Antonio and Atlantic Beach. The course designer mode also remains, allowing you to either create your own or download those made by others.

Available: Now
Formats: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC, Nintendo Switch
RRP: From £39.99
