Everything we know about the 2021 PGA Tour season, which will feature six majors

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the 2021 PGA Tour schedule was slightly delayed and began with the Safeway Open in September.

With the 2020 US Open and Masters postponed, they fell into the 2021 schedule, meaning there will be six majors this season.

Elsewhere the Greenbrier, the traditional season-opener, and the PGA Tour have agreed to end their 10-year relationship. The contract was due to run until 2026.

The PGA Tour also announced that the WGC-HSBC Champions, due to take place in October in Shanghai, was cancelled, while the WGC-Mexico Championship moves to Florida and will be known as the World Golf Championships at The Concession.

Also missing was the traditional Christmas jaunt to the Bahamas for Tiger Woods Foundation-hosted Hero World Challenge.
