The 2021 Ladies European Tour schedule will run from May to November and will feature the largest combined prize fund in its history, with €19 million up for grabs across 27 events in 19 different countries.

The schedule includes five new events in Europe, as well as the inaugural Aramco Team Series, which will take place in the UK, Spain, US, and Saudi Arabia.

Also announced is the ISPS Handa World Invitational in Northern Ireland, a five-day tournament tri-sanctioned by the European, LPGA, and Ladies European Tours, with a field of 288 players – 144 men and 144 women – and a $2.35 million purse split evenly. American Golf have also been announced as the tournament’s “official retail partner”.

The tournament will count towards the European Tour’s Race to Dubai and carry Team Europe Ryder Cup points, while the women’s tournament will count towards the Race to the CME Globe for women on the LPGA Tour, the Race to Costa del Sol on the Ladies European Tour, and Solheim Cup points for both Team Europe and Team USA.

The tournament known as the Ladies Scottish Open since its inauguration in 2007 will now be known as the Women’s Scottish Open, and will this year take place at the brand new Dumbarnie Links.

The LET finale at the Andalucia Costa del Sol Open de Espana will also feature a bonus purse of €250,000 which will be split between the top three in the season-long standings, with 1st receiving an additional €125,000, while second and third will earn €75,000 and €50,000 respectively.

The LET has also signed a three-year partnership with Titleist, who will provide its flagship Pro V1 golf ball for practice ranges at each event on the 2021 schedule. It will also see both organisations donate 100 per cent of each tournament’s ball allocation to good causes, such as the respective National Golf Federations, Junior Golf Programmes, or direct to the host venue, all in support of the ongoing development of new talent across the world.
