Have you ever been in a golf lesson, or in a conversation with a golf coach, and they start talking about different Trackman terms and you have no real idea what they mean? In this video: What is club path?

We visited elite golf coach Dan Whittaker at his state of the art studio, fitted with Trackman software, to ask him to simplify the this terminology just for you.

In this short video, Dan explains the term ‘club path’:

Club path is simply the path on which the club is coming into the ball that influence curvature you can get on the shot.

A positive number means you have hit a shot in to out which typically gives you a draw shape. An out-to-in shot club path would be a negative number and typically sees you hit a fade or a slice.
