Video tips: Tee it high, watch it fly – Truth or myth?

Thomas Devine from the PGA Academy demonstrates whether the saying "tee is high, watch it fly" actually gives more distance

If you want your tee shots with the driver to go those extra yards, teeing the ball higher could really help.

If the driver hits the ball just above the middle of the club face, the ball will launch higher with less spin, meaning you’ll gain the extra distance you want.

Teeing the ball lower will result in a lower ball flight and more spin on the golf ball.
