A weak grip, whereby the right thumb is turned over the grip and the left thumb pointing straight down will see the club return open at impact, and therefore enhance the likelihood of a shot that curves to the right.
A strong grip is where your right thumb will be pointing to the right of the shaft, and will return the club face in a closed position at impact, and as a result the shot will finish to the left of your intended target.
