How to generate more power with your driver

LET player Sophie Walker talks you through getting the most out of your driver

Sophie Walker is a professional golfer who plays on the Ladies European Tour. In this video Sophie has some driver tips for ways you can generate more power with the big stick.

I’m not going to be here telling you how to swing it. I’m going to be telling you about how to be more aggressive through the shot.

When I’m talking about being more aggressive through the shot it’s not about doing it with the hand speed. It’s the body speed that is going to generate the power and the pace.

The first thing to do is really work on rotating your body and core through the ball faster.

Feel like your body is turning into your left side and as you hit the ball, have a really big rotation with the chest.

You need to make sure you swing positively but with some aggression too.
