What I often see is when people set up they have the ball as far forward as possible and lean into the ball.
When you watch me do it you can see my shoulders are wide open so the golf club swings more to the left. That gives you more side spin which makes the ball shoot off to the right.
So when you set up make sure your head is behind the ball. Don’t go chasing after it.
