Are you a solid golfer from tee to green but when you end up on the putting surface your game falls to pieces? Are you a regular three putter? I have a couple of lag putting tips I’d like you to put into practice and I’m certain that will help you become much better with the flatstick from distance.
Lag putting tips: The main points
The key one of my lag putting tips is being able to know instantly if you have hit the ball too hard or too soft. So what I have set up is a ball marker three feet behind the hole and my goal is to try and finish the ball inside that target every time.
As soon as you hit the putt say to yourself whether you think it’s a good putt or a bad putt. This will enable you to get a better feel of these longer putts and how firm you need to strike the ball.
