In my experience, the golfers who play this shot best have developed their own unique feels they rely on, but there are a few fundamentals to remember that I think are essential.

For example, it’s no secret you’ll want to move that ball back in your stance and keep your weight forward. But to counteract the steeper angle of attack this will create, adjustments to your alignment and release are vital.
