Nick Taylor is one of Canada’s leading golfing talents, having racked up five PGA Tour titles over his career so far.
Born in Winnipeg in 1988, Taylor quickly got into the game, and he had a very successful amateur career. He is the only male Canadian player to have been No.1 on the World Amateur Golf Rankings, claiming the Mark H. McCormack Medal and the Ben Hogan Award in the process.
He turned professional in 2010, though it would be four years before he graduated to the PGA Tour. However, Taylor would then claim a victory in his debut season, winning the Sanderson Farms Championship. The Canadian now has five PGA Tour wins, including a win at his home open – the RBC Canadian Open. His most recent win came in January 2025, as he won a playoff at the Sony Open in Hawaii.
