Skechers have launched their new GO GOLF range – here we review the Women’s Jasmine 2 model.
The 2025 Skechers GO GOLF® shoes are designed to be comfortable, stylish, and high-performance for both men and women. Some models include all or some of the new features – like easy Slip-In technology, lightweight cushioning made with recycled materials, grip-enhancing outsoles, and removable arch supports for all-day comfort. These shoes are the most advanced golf shoes Skechers has created so far. In this Skechers Women’s GO GOLF Jasmine 2 golf shoe review we will put to the test this fully waterproof lace up, spiked shoe to see if they deliver on comfort and style.
I have to say I loved these shoes more than I expected to! I play with a lot of women that wear Skechers and adore them, but for some reason I have always associated Skechers with older people and as a brand that I will ‘grow into’ when I retire. However, these totally changed my mentality on that. They’re cute, comfortable, and have great functionality – there really wasn’t anything not to like! These shoes mean even more to me as my daughter is called Jasmine, so they are now a key addition to my golfing wardrobe and I am off to buy a pair in black!
PROS
Will go with any outfit, given the nice clean design and gold accents.
Super comfortable from the first time you wear them (no need to ‘wear them in’ at home).
All weather capability as they feel light, yet are fully waterproof and have spikes
CONS
Slightly larger than expected so size down half a size
I was super excited to open the box and trial my first pair of Skechers Golf Shoes. I was delighted to find a pair of gorgeous white shoes, with little gold accents, adding a funky feel to a traditional shoe. They looked comfortable and felt light so I was keen to get out on the course and give them a try. The underneath of the shoe is gold with silver/grey replaceable soft spikes, they looked so good I almost didn’t want to dirty them.
On Course Testing
Initial excitement
It’s tough to find a great pair of women’s golf shoes that look good, are waterproof, and offer good traction and comfort. I have tried many different shoes in my years of playing, and to date, my recent go to brand has been Payntr, but they only offer one style of women’s golf shoe, so I was delighted to find a good alternative.
Possibly size down
I would suggest sizing down half a size in these shoes as they do seem to come up quite big, but that’s the only negative thing I have to say about them.
Like walking on air
They are wider than most women’s golf shoes I have worn but I actually felt like that was a benefit because it was balanced with their amazingly comfortable insole, which meant I had room for my feet to breathe and move around a little, without any risk of blisters. I have to admit, most of the time I felt like I was walking on air.

Waterproof
They definitely live up to their ‘waterproof’ claim, which is pretty easy to test when you live in the UK (Skechers even give you a 1 year warranty to cover that). I have worn these on 2 wet rounds, and 2 dry rounds and felt comfortable and dry on both. The spikes have just the right amount of grip to be classed as an All Weather shoe, clinging to the course in wet weather, with absolutely no slipping, yet not feeling too cumbersome on dry terrain.
The stability that this shoe offers is superb, even in bunkers there was no feeling of a loss of grip.
Perfect to go with short socks
One worry most women have when purchasing shoes is how cumbersome they will look when wearing short socks and a skort or shorts.
Again Skechers have knocked it out of the park with this one, they sit at just the right part of the ankle, and the gold accents draw your attention to the overall design.
A pet hate of mine is when the laces are too short, this is not the case with the Skechers Jasmine 2, where they provide just the right amount of lace to make a double knot without any hassle so you can focus on your game and not retying your laces.
Final verdict
Appeal to all ages
Whilst I was asked to review these shoes, I couldn’t keep my 18 year old daughter from wearing them too. As soon as she opened the box and saw that they were not only gorgeous, but also called Jasmine (her name) she demanded to be taken for 9 holes.

Her verdict was much the same as mine, so we can confidently say that Skechers have created an icon that appeals to all ages with the Go Golf Jasmine 2!
