Best Women’s Golf Shorts and Skorts 2024
FootJoy Women’s Shorts

Not all female golfers are wanting to wear knee length shorts and FootJoy has really hit the nail on the head with these. I couldn’t believe how true and bright white these shorts were but it’s great. They come with a standard button and fly fastening, along side four pockets and belt loops.
I wore these FJ shorts in my standard uk10 in bottoms and they fit perfect. They are fairly low rise but nonetheless they sat nicely. I’m 5ft8 and felt like these shorts sat at a nice length. They were easy to move in whether that be during my swing or bending down to read putts.
I have worn these shorts a couple of times now one of which being on a rare 22 degree day. Despite these shorts feeling quite thick to touch they were actually very cool. The polyester material is packed with moisture wicking technology which is especially apparent on the inside waist band.
As mentioned, I wore these in white but FJ does offer these in black or navy. They’re a great staple pair of shorts that will certainly be getting plenty of wear from me this season.
Pros:
- Four decent size pockets
- Belt loops
- Very white!
- Comfortable fit
Cons:
- Length might not be everyone’s taste
RRP – £64.99

Abacus Brook Stripe Shorts

Out of the packet, I couldn’t believe how lightweight and thin these shorts are. Immediately, I thought these would be great to packet into a suitcase for the weight allowance. Aside from the weight, these Brook shorts feel like great quality. Made up from 88% polyester 12% spandex, they have dry cool and moisture wick properties, great for those warm rounds.
I love the design and fit of these shorts. I wore a Uk10 which is my regular bottoms size. I am also 5ft8 and these were a really great length. For added support Abacus has added belt loops and the fastening is a fly front with press stud and bottom.
The Brook shorts from Abacus comes with two pockets at the front and two at the back which i very practical. I really enjoyed wearing these out on the course and know that during the hotter rounds these will be a go to pair of shorts.
Pros:
- Incredibly lightweight
- Great length and fit
- Belt loops and four pockets
Cons:
- Quite thin
RRP – £75
SIZES: 34-48

This skort is complete with four pockets. One of the back pockets has a strip of silcone inside to stop things from easily falling out.
Overall, I enjoyed wearing this skort and it’s a pleasant change from my usual block colour skorts.

- Great quality
- Belt loops
- Lots of pockets
- Fits great
Cons:
- Style might not be everyone’s cup of tea – but don’t knock it until you try it!

Callaway Women’s Chevron Print Blocked 17″ Golf Skort

Out of the packet I loved the look of this skort. The block navy design works really well with the small multi colour Callaway logo on either side. The side panels with the print on are two large pockets that fit a good amount of my arm in, meaning there is plenty of room for your belongings.
To touch this is a very silky soft skort. It’s made up from 95% Recycled Polyester and 5% Elastane, creating a jersey type material that is very stretchy. This type of fabric is great as it has moisture wicking technology that allows it to dry fast.

I like the block navy colourway and how diverse this can be. There is two pockets at the front but none at the back.
I wore this skort in uk12 which was a little big for me as my regular size is a uk10. I wore the regular length, which sat quite nice for someone who is 5ft8. If you prefer a longer length or you’re taller FJ does offer this in a 2 inch longer option.
I wore this out on the course and found it very light and comfortable to move in. FJ offers this skort in both a block black colourway and white, it’s a great summer wardrobe staple.
Pros:
- Very stretchy
- Different length options
- Comfortable fit
Cons:
- No back pockets
RRP – £54.99
SIZES: XS-XXL
