New Titleist irons are here as Titleist release the brand new Titleist T-Series irons range. The new T100, T150, T200 and T350 aim to offer something for every golfer. So which one should you have in play?
Titleist T100 irons
The T100 iron is Titleist’s most popular model on tour. It is designed for the better player who wants precision control and an unrivalled feel.
The construction of these has been refined to help deliver a more solid feel at impact. This was done in the new back bar which also includes better more dense tungsten for better ball flight. I really like the re-styling of this top back section of the head to be slightly deeper and include the Titleist logo it definitely gives it a more classic look.
Titleist wanted to be more precise with the centre of gravity (CG) in these models. They have used a 2000° aerospace brazing process to secure the tungsten inside the club head, saving weight as they don’t need to use adhesive, and meaning they can be more precise with weight locations for optimised CG placement.
Titleist has also used a new CNC face milling process. Complimenting a subtle shift in CG, the process now delivers more control and consistency in ball flight, especially between the fairway and the first cut.
Vokey design grind experts and tour pros have had lots of input on the soles of the new T-Series range. The trailing edge of the T100 sole has been softened to help the club move faster and more efficiently through the turf.

Titleist T150 irons
The T150 is a new model to the T-Series line-up. It comes into replace the T100 S which was a stronger lofted version of the T100. Titleist recognised a lot of golfers appreciated the extra distance this model provided but would have liked an element of added forgiveness compared to the T100. They have worked on this a come back with the new T150 to deliver on that.

This is known as the ‘faster tour iron’. It is for players who want the control and feel of the T100 but require a slight increase in speed, distance and forgiveness.
The T150 is built on the same fully forged platform as T100, it has the same blade length and offset measurements but has 2° stronger lofts. The topline is slightly thicker than the T100 in a bid to make this more confidence inspiring over the ball.
While this shares most of its technology with the T100, it does have some differences. The longer irons feature a refined muscle channel, which is the long thin grey rectangle you can see above the T150 logo on the club above. This adds ball speed but has also been pulled nearer the club face to create a more solid feel at impact.

Titleist T200 irons
The T200 is Titleist’s players’ distance iron, I think Titleist have nailed making this look like a players’ iron but deliver much more in terms of performance.
A key feature of this model is max impact technology which spreads maximum speed across the entire face as well as keeping the sound and feel consistent. Again Titleist has used their wider design team for this. The max impact technology is made from a unique polymer which the golf ball team helped create. The polymer sits behind the club face and helps keep your ball speed up on strikes across the club face.
The whole internal structure of this has been redesigned to improve performance. The new chassis creates an overall stiffer structure and allows the max impact technology to sit closer to the face.
Despite the updates inside the club, the T200 shaping remains consistent with what we have seen before. It has identical blade length and offset measurements to T100 and T150, which makes it easy to combo between the models.

Titleist T350 irons
The T350 is Titleist’s game improvement offering. It is for golfers who want high launch, exceptional distance and more forgiveness. Personally, I really like the fact this model is part of the wider T-Series range rather than a stand-alone game improvement model as it feels like you are still getting a tour-inspired product, and you can easily see how you can improve and move up the range.
This has a hollow-body construction inspired by the T200 chassis compared to one-piece cavity back construction we saw in the previous T300 model. This means players benefit from a forged face for better feel. It features max impact technology and dual tungsten weighting low in the face to optimise CG and launch conditions.
As with the other models in this range, the sole has a variable bounce design, including refinements to the trailing edge to get the iron moving better though the turf.
