Who is Rickie Fowler’s wife? Meet Allison Stokke

Get to know Allison Stokke, the fitness model and pole vaulter married to Rickie Fowler

Rickie Fowler is one of the most popular golfers in the world. Although he has struggled with form in recent years, the American has six PGA Tour wins and has represented the USA in the Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup.

After rising to fame in the early 2010s, Fowler started dating pole vaulter Allison Stokke. The pair are now married and Stokke is often seen supporting Fowler on the PGA Tour. Here’s everything you need to know about Rickie Fowler’s wife…

Who is Rickie Fowler’s wife, Allison Stokke?

Allison Stokke was born on March 22, 1989, in Newport Beach, California. Raised by parents Allan and Cindy Stokke, Allison grew up in a sporting family with her brother David a national youth-level gymnast.

Stokke attended Newport Harbor High School where she quickly became a budding track and field athlete, specialising in pole vault.

In 2007, Stokke rose to fame after a photo of her competing went viral across several sports blogs. Comments relating to the photo were then published in The Washington Post, the BBC and Der Spiegel among others.

“I worked so hard for pole vaulting and all this other stuff, and it’s almost like that doesn’t matter,” Stokke said after the incident. “Nobody sees that. Nobody really sees me.”

Thanks to her skill, Stokke received an athletic scholarship to study at the University of California, Berkeley. Here, the pole vaulter would compete at two NCAA Division I Championships during her senior year, falling just short of making the US Olympic team for the 2012 games. Stokke’s lifetime best in the event remains 4.36 metres, which she jumped in 2012.

Stokke has over 700,000 followers across social media.

How did they meet?

Fowler and Stokke started dating in 2017. The PGA Tour star has since revealed he reached out to Stokke on social media before the two hit it off.

“I reached out to her on social media,” Fowler said. “It seemed like she was the kind of person that would fit with who I am.”

Their relationship eventually went public in April 2017 after they were spotted together attending a Moto GP race in Texas.

When did they get married?

The pair got married in October 2019. The ceremony took place on a beach in Mexico, with Fowler’s close friend Justin Thomas as one of the attendees. The PGA champion was also present when Fowler proposed to Stokke one year earlier.

Do they have any children?

Fowler and Stokke have one child together. She is a girl named Maya who was born on 18 November 2021. The couple announced the news that Stokke was pregnant one day after Father’s Day via their Instagram accounts.

“Reservation for November… Fowler party of 3 #GirlDad,” wrote Fowler on Instagram, revealing the month that the baby was due along with its gender. “Coming in November @rickiefowler might find himself a little outnumbered,” Stokke wrote.
