So what is new for 2026? Well, both the TP5 and the TP5x feature TaylorMade’s new microcoating technology. The idea with this is to ensure a thinner and more even layer of paint across the entire surface of the ball.
This process has been introduced to help eradicate any inconsistencies in the covering of the balls that can have an impact on the ball flight.
