Cobra LTDx fairway woods: The technology
The Cobra LTDx fairway woods share a lot of technologies with the Cobra King LTDx drivers. They all feature Pwr-Cor technology. This is a combination of multi material internal and external weights which help move the weight and CG into the most optimal position for each model.
It also allows Cobra to move the weight to the perimeter of the golf club which increases MOI providing more stability and forgiveness.
The clubheads feature a carbon fibre crown to create a lighter and stronger chassis for maximum stability. This also allows the centre of gravity to be lowered and moved forward to increase ball speed and distance as well as optimising spin.
The variable thickness HOT Face design which we also see in the drivers are also in the woods. This consists of 15 different zones on the face which are all different thicknesses to help maximise ball speeds across a larger surface area of the clubface, giving you longer carry distances even with off-centre strikes.
The fairway metals come in progressive shaping and the higher lofts – 5-wood and 7-wood – also feature rails on the sole for more versatility.
