What’s new? How much does it cost? And, what are the performance gains? Max McVittie brings you the lowdown on the new Callaway Quantum drivers.
There aren’t many bigger or more accomplished golf manufacturers than Callaway. Whether it is on tour or in clubhouses around the country, they are trusted by all golfers and their drivers are no exception.
Now they have a new driver range; the Callaway Quantum drivers. They represent a major leap forward face construction, AI-driven performance tuning, and player-specific design for the brand.
With five distinct heads designed for different swing speeds, shot shapes, and player profiles, Quantum is Callaway’s most complete driver lineup yet.
Let’s take a look at the technology which makes these drivers so impressive…
Callaway Quantum Drivers: The Technology
At the heart of each Quantum driver in the line-up is Callaway’s Tri-Force Face. This is a fully integrated speed system that layers ultra-thin high-strength titanium, Poly Mesh, and carbon fibre into a single face structure.
This multi-material design is engineered to flex more efficiently at impact, delivering exceptional ball speed not only on centre strikes, but across a much larger hitting area.
Quantum takes AI face design further than previous generations. Callaway’s updated AI modeling now accounts for how the three face materials interact together, allowing engineers to precisely tune speed, launch, spin, and accuracy based on real-world impact patterns.
The result is a more consistent distance and tighter dispersion on mishits across every driver in the lineup.
In Quantum Triple Diamond, Triple Diamond Max, and Max Fast models, a 360° Carbon Chassis reduces overall weight while maintaining structural strength. This freed-up mass is repositioned to optimise centre of gravity placement, increase forgiveness, and tighten dispersion, while also giving the driver a premium, tour-inspired look.
Quantum drivers feature a refined 10-gram adjustable perimeter weight, allowing players to fine-tune shot shape. Depending on the model, settings promote neutral, draw, or fade bias, giving golfers more control over launch and curvature without sacrificing stability.

Every Quantum driver includes Callaway’s OptiFit hosel, offering independent loft and lie adjustment with eight total configurations. This allows players to dial in trajectory, spin, and directional bias to match their swing and playing conditions.
